350 Widows get Relief Package

Khubaib Foundation in coordination with the Zakat Foundation of America has given relief packages to about 350 deserving widows of Christian staff of the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
CDA Member Environment Mazhar Hussain, Deputy Director General Sulman Sehtu, Senior Director Sanitation Syed Mustafain Kazmi, Director Environment Malik Olia Khan and Vice Chairman Khubaib Foundation Muhammad Nasir attended the ceremony.
At the occasion CDA member environment Mazhar Hussain commended the efforts of Khubaib Foundation and said that foundation has always come forward to help unprivileged segments of the society. He thanked the foundation for helping the needy families of the CDA sanitation staff.
Syed Mustafain Kazmi also expressed his gratitude to the administration of Khubaib Foundation for their services to bring depriving sections of the societal setup to live a prosperous life.
Addressing the ceremony Vice Chairman Khubaib Foundation Muhammad Nasir apprised the services of the foundation and its performance during the 8th October 2005, earthquake tragedy that took thousands of lives and ruined many cities of the country. He commended the efforts of the CDA that supported the foundation in establishing the camps in earthquake hit-areas and Islamabad as well. He further informed that every year foundation distributes sacrificial meat among poor and deserving people as well as in different jails of the country. He said that the foundation has also established a relief camp for 187 flood affected families in Turbat, Balochistan. He thanked the CDA and Mazdoor union for their continuous support to the foundation in the field of social welfare. Later General Secretary, Mazdoor Union, Chaudry Muhammad Yaseen thanked the Chairman of Khubaib Foundation Nadeem Ahmed Khan and other members for their support and help to the deserving employees of the authority.
Qurbani Programme Completed with Zeal & Fervor
Hundreds of animals were sacrificed on the first , second & third days of Eid-ul-Azha under the auspices of Khubaib Foundation. According to details, these animals were sacrificed in Islamabad, Haripur, Mardan, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Turbat, Pasheen, Quetta, Faisalabad and many other cities of the country. Special teams were constituted by the Foundation to look after the slaughter and proper distribution of Qurbani meat. In this regard, proper arrangements were made at each location.
Mr. Nadeem Ahmed Khan, Chairman and Muhammad Nasir Vice Chairman of Khubaib Foundation visited a few of these locations and appreciated the efforts of Khubaib members and volunteers for efficiently accomplishing the task.
